L'intelligence territoriale au service du développement urbain durable

This article explores the importance of territorial intelligence in the planning and management of sustainable urban development. Highlighting the contemporary challenges facing cities, such as rapid population growth, natural resource depletion and climate change, the article underlines the urgency of rethinking urban strategies.
Through an in-depth review of academic literature and case studies, the article focuses on the various applications of territorial intelligence, including the collection and modeling of urban development scenarios and the implementation of geographic information systems. The integration of territorial intelligence into urban decision-making processes is examined through several concrete examples, demonstrating its effectiveness in identifying areas at risk, designing resilient infrastructures and promoting sustainable lifestyles.
The article highlights the importance of territorial intelligence as an essential tool for guiding the transition to more sustainable and resilient cities. It calls for increased collaboration between urban actors, researchers and policymakers to fully exploit the potential of territorial intelligence in building tomorrow's cities.
