About the Journal

The International Journal of Digitalisation and Applied Management (IJDAM) [RMd] is an international open-access journal. It is peer-reviewed and published in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

As an international journal, it accepts articles in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish in fields related to management, finance, accounting, governance, management control, innovation, economics, technology and digitalisation. It also covers related topics such as education, sociology, law, econometrics, information systems, etc. The main objective is to help bridge the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge by including academic research in this field.

Aims of the journal

To disseminate: To make the research work of authors in economics and management more accessible and understandable.
To guide researchers through the scientific writing and peer review process.
To raise researchers' awareness of the importance of scientific research in the social sciences in the digital age.

Copyright

When an article is published in IJDAM, the author retains copyright associated with the content. For purposes of dissemination and visibility, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to reproduce, electronically publish and distribute the full article or extracts. The name of the authors will accompany their article on all publication media.

Confidentiality statement

In accordance with the standards of scientific journals, submitted articles are evaluated by two anonymous reviewers, without revealing the identity of the author. Based on the opinions of these two reviewers, the editor in charge of the article makes the decision to publish it, reject it or ask the author to make revisions. Personal information, such as names and e-mail addresses provided on the website of this journal, will be used exclusively for the purposes defined by the journal itself and will under no circumstances be used for any other purpose or disclosed to third parties.

Review policy

1. Publication
The International Journal of Digitalization and Applied Management offers free and immediate access to its content. Articles are published online and accessible free of charge in two formats:

PDF format, downloadable and printable ;
HTML format, for on-screen consultation;
paper format (issue of the journal) ordered by the author.

2. Copyright
Authors who publish in this journal retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

3. Plagiarism
The journal implements an anti-plagiarism policy to ensure the authenticity of all publications, using specialised tools to spot any form of plagiarism. This approach aims to maintain high standards of originality, ensuring the production of innovative and original scientific work. Various plagiarism detection tools such as iThenticate, Urkund, Grammarly, Plagium, etc. are used to monitor and control the level of originality.

4. Ethical Politics

IJDAM  has a code of publication ethics that follows the editorial best practices established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics; http://publicationethics.org).

5. Peer review process

  • Receipt of the article by the journal secretariat ;
  • Notification of receipt of submissions to authors,
  • Verification of the possibility of plagiarism and suitability for the journal's academic fields by the journal's editor-in-chief;
  • Assigning a code to the article and preparing it for anonymous review;
  • The article is sent for blind review and analysis by external/independent peers (anonymous). The external review is carried out by two members of the journal's editorial board on the basis of their expertise, or by independent reviewers known for their international expertise in the field.
  • On receipt of the reviewers' reports by the Editor-in-Chief, in the event of a positive and a negative report on the article, the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the members of the Editorial and Scientific Committee, will appoint a third additional reviewer.
  • Associating the results of the assessments with the article and sending them to the authors for correction.
  • The authors correct the article and send it to the secretariat, specifying the changes made within a deadline set by the editorial committee;
  • Verification of corrections requested by the Reading Committee. Articles that are ready for publication but require minor changes will be sent back to the authors for reformulation;
  • Once the requested changes have been confirmed, the articles will go through the textual revision and standardisation process before being sent for publication.

  • Publication of the article online in Open Access.

Publication frequency :
The journal is published twice a year, but adopts a continuous publication model: any article that is accepted, after peer review, is immediately published online before the official release of the relevant issue.

Publication fees
Starting in 2025, a publication fee of 140€ will be charged. Publication fees will only be charged for accepted articles. This amount must be paid by debit or credit card via PayPal.
