Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of vocational training programs on the situation of unemployed young people, based on youth employment data for the period 2017-2018, which provides detailed information on the socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of the individuals studied. In order to identify the causal effect of the program, the propensity score matching method is used. The results indicate that participation in vocational training has no statistically significant impact on access to employment for young people who were initially unemployed.
