The impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence on Transversal Skills in Commerce and Management Higher Education

La technologie a indéniablement révolutionné le cours actuel et futur de l’éducation. Malgré ses nombreuses limites, elle est largement utilisée dans différents domaines de l’enseignement afin de faciliter les processus d’apprentissage et d’enseignement. L’apprentissage fondé sur la technologie est introduit dans diverses institutions académiques pour favoriser la compréhension et impliquer les étudiants dans une société émergente, active et numérisée. Cependant, alors que la technologie était initialement mobilisée pour résoudre des problèmes pratiques en éducation, l’intelligence artificielle est apparue comme un outil capable de reproduire une intelligence semblable à celle de l’être humain. Le problème réside dans le fait que l’intelligence artificielle peut accomplir des tâches académiques telles que le raisonnement, la résolution de problèmes ou encore la prise de décision, ce qui peut entraver les processus d’enseignement et d’apprentissage. Dans ce contexte, réguler l’intelligence artificielle ne constitue pas une option viable, dans la mesure où elle est largement répandue, facile d’utilisation, accessible et opérationnelle. Cela représente un défi majeur pour les décideurs, les enseignants et les chercheurs, à mesure que ces outils s’intègrent de plus en plus dans le milieu académique. Par conséquent, les chercheurs s’intéressent davantage à la manière dont l’intelligence artificielle doit être mise en œuvre plutôt qu’à l’exploration du concept lui-même. Cette étude vise ainsi à mettre en lumière la relation intrinsèque entre les compétences transversales et l’intelligence artificielle générative, et à proposer des pistes pour faire face à cette situation problématique.
