Cette recherche explore la manière dont le Maroc s'engage stratégiquement auprès de l'Union européenne (UE) et de la Chine pour développer ses ressources minérales, essentielles à la transition énergétique mondiale et à l'innovation technologique. Elle examine les stratégies du Maroc pour équilibrer ces partenariats, ainsi que les opportunités et les défis auxquels sont confrontés les investisseurs chinois et européens dans le secteur minier marocain. À travers des entretiens avec des experts et une analyse des politiques, l'étude compare les approches chinoise et européenne en matière d'investissement et met en évidence les leçons que l'UE peut en tirer pour renforcer son rôle de partenaire clé dans un contexte de concurrence croissante. Elle évalue également l'influence de l'intégration régionale en Afrique du Nord sur la diplomatie minière et les relations extérieures du Maroc. Les résultats offrent un aperçu de la manière dont le Maroc exploite ses ressources pour affirmer son autorité, promouvoir le développement durable et affronter la concurrence mondiale, contribuant ainsi aux débats sur la gouvernance des ressources, l'investissement étranger et les partenariats Nord-Sud.
