Artificial Intelligence and Big Data for performance in uncertain environments

Abstract

In an ever-changing world, companies need to revise their management methods to remain successful. This paper explores how artificial intelligence (AI) and big data can revolutionize management control, information systems and performance management. Objective: Adapt corporate management practices to make them agile and connected thanks to AI and big data. Methodology: This research is conducted through a qualitative approach combining a literature review and semi-structured interviews. Results: AI enables task automation and data analysis for informed decision-making; Big data enriches information systems by providing a global, real-time view of business activity. Performance management benefits from more precise, individualized assessment thanks to these technologies. Conclusion: Integrating AI and big data into management practices enables companies to anticipate change, optimize resources and seize growth opportunities. These technologies offer considerable potential for driving performance proactively and agilely in an uncertain environment.
