Probably unwillingly, the British Royal Family, has created, in march 2024, a huge debate worldwidely about ethics in photojornalism. After global important news agencies refused to publish an adultered photo of the Wales’ princess, Kate Middleton, and her children, there has emerged a discussion about the excessive modification in photographies. That people change strictely private photos, like the selfies that inundates social mídia networks, it´s alright! But When an image reaches collective status, the adulteration with photo edition programs must be questioned, even if it involves aparentely futile subjects, like the private life of members of the British Royal Family.
