Cet article propose une cartographie de la littérature académique consacrée à la relation entre l’intégration économique régionale et la croissance économique. L’objectif est de recenser les contributions majeures, d’identifier les courants thématiques dominants, de suivre les évolutions conceptuelles du champ et de formuler un programme de recherche structuré pour les travaux futurs. La méthodologie repose sur une revue bibliométrique rigoureuse combinée à une analyse qualitative de contenu. Un corpus de 47 documents publiés entre 1998 et 2025, extraits de la base Scopus, a été analysé à l’aide des logiciels VOSviewer (1.6.20) et Bibliometrix (R). L’étude combine des indicateurs de performance scientifique à une analyse de cooccurrence des mots-clés, permettant de faire émerger six clusters thématiques structurants : (1) intégration régionale, externalités et cadres empiriques ; (2) géoéconomie asiatique et effets distributifs ; (3) canaux centraux de croissance via les IDE ; (4) blocs asiatiques et flux commerciaux ; (5) commerce régional en Afrique et défis structurels ; (6) architectures institutionnelles avancées en Europe. L’analyse révèle une montée en complexité des travaux, marquée par un élargissement géographique et une diversification méthodologique. Sur le plan théorique, la recherche reste dominée par les approches en croissance endogène et en économie régionale, avec une attention croissante portée à la profondeur institutionnelle des accords, aux externalités spatiales et à la soutenabilité des effets de l’intégration. L’article identifie plusieurs limites, notamment l’usage exclusif de la base Scopus et la dépendance aux mots-clés prédéfinis dans la requête. Malgré cela, les résultats offrent des pistes claires pour les chercheurs, praticiens et décideurs, notamment renforcer la mesure de la profondeur intégrative, identifier finement les canaux causaux, exploiter les micro-données et intégrer les enjeux environnementaux, numériques et sociaux dans l’évaluation des politiques d’intégration économique régionale.
