Constructivist Grounded Theory in Management Sciences: A Methodological Framework for Social Entrepreneurship Research in the Global South

Resumen

La investigación cualitativa en ciencias de la gestión se ha expandido significativamente, pero la claridad metodológica sigue siendo insuficiente, particularmente en contextos no occidentales y emergentes. Este artículo sostiene que la Teoría Fundamentada Constructivista (TFC), tal como fue sistematizada por Charmaz (2006), ofrece un marco metodológico riguroso y contextualmente adaptado para la investigación en gestión. Tres brechas motivan esta contribución: la ausencia de coherencia epistemológica en muchos estudios cualitativos de gestión; la articulación insuficiente de las contribuciones específicas de la TFC a las ciencias de gestión; y la falta de orientación metodológica para investigadores que estudian el emprendimiento social y la gestión cooperativa en contextos del Sur Global. El artículo realiza tres contribuciones originales: posiciona la TFC en el panorama paradigmático a través de dos tablas comparativas; identifica cinco contribuciones específicas de la TFC a la investigación en gestión; y desarrolla un argumento original sobre la idoneidad de la TFC para la investigación en emprendimiento social en el Sur Global, con Marruecos como contexto ilustrativo. El artículo incluye una figura de proceso, discusión explícita de las limitaciones, implicaciones gerenciales y una guía operativa de siete pasos.
