Constructivist Grounded Theory in Management Sciences: A Methodological Framework for Social Entrepreneurship Research in the Global South

A investigação qualitativa em ciências da gestão tem crescido significativamente, mas a clareza metodológica permanece subdesenvolvida, particularmente em contextos não ocidentais e emergentes. Este artigo defende que a Teoria Fundamentada Construtivista (TFC), tal como sistematizada por Charmaz (2006), oferece um quadro metodológico rigoroso e contextualmente responsivo para a investigação em gestão. Três lacunas motivam esta contribuição: a ausência de coerência epistemológica em muitos estudos qualitativos de gestão; a articulação insuficiente das contribuições específicas da TFC às ciências de gestão; e a falta de orientação metodológica para investigadores que estudam o empreendedorismo social e a gestão cooperativa em contextos do Sul Global. O artigo apresenta três contribuições originais: posiciona a TFC no panorama paradigmático através de duas tabelas comparativas; identifica cinco contribuições específicas da TFC para a investigação em gestão; e desenvolve um argumento original sobre a adequação da TFC à investigação em empreendedorismo social no Sul Global, com Marrocos como contexto ilustrativo. O artigo inclui uma figura de processo, discussão explícita das limitações, implicações para a gestão e um guia operacional em sete etapas.
